Solar and Power was born in 2015 when there was a need in South Africa for alternative energy. Rupert Upton and Craig Magill teamed up and started going to solar school. The school was called Maxx Solar Academy which is south Africa's Premier : Solar Power Training Institute it is powered by D.G.S. which is the Thuringian Regional Association of the German Solar Energy DGS.In July 2016 our showroom and offices were opened at : 381 Lois Avenue, Waterkloof Glen, Pretoria
Our focus is on residential homes, rural needs and camping requirements. We have had great success in being able to communicate to customers about the inner workings of solar energy and dispelling many of the myths that surround the topic. The business is viewed holistically and advise is freely available on projects that are being undertaken. 'The greatest reward is being able to share solar knowledge and develop peoples knowledge'
